Diverse Leap is a Registered Charity providing 1-2-1 Support for anyone suffering with Anxiety or Depression or any other Mental Health Condition and you need someone to talk to as a “listening ear” with not only empathy (and a cup of tea) but also evidence-based advice and support, signposting to professional sources of treatment and activities to promote positive mental wellbeing. All our volunteers are accredited Mental Health First Aiders and are passionate about making a difference to people's lives; many also bring their own lived experience to share.
Our very firm intent is that no-one who visits Diverse Leap leaves us feeling lonely or hopeless but instead is empowered and supported to take more control over their own lives. So, although we appreciate it can be tough to talk about our own feelings and emotions, we encourage anyone who is feeling low or anxious to “take that leap” and come along and see us. All our services are confidential and are provided free of charge.
If you want to make an appointment in advance, please contact us via glosdiverseleap@gmail.com or through our Facebook page. Otherwise just drop in to the Redwell Centre; you will be very welcome
